Vettel cruises to ninth victory of 2011 season

Sunday 25th September 2011, 15:10

Sebastian Vettel couldn't quite wrap the title up in Singapore but he did take the race win in a dominant performance which saw him lead every lap.

Jenson Button finished second and is now the only man who can challenge the German for the title - though that would mean the McLaren driver would need to win every remaining race with Vettel failing to score another point.

Mark Webber lost a single place from his front-row starting position to finish 3rd quite some distance ahead of Fernando Alonso.

Lewis Hamilton, Paul di Resta, Nico Rosberg, Adrian Sutil, Felipe Massa and Sergio Perez rounded off the top ten.
