Marko: Webber contract finalised very soon

Dr. Helmut Marko, Webber's chief critic in the Istanbul collision, insists that the Australian will be presented with a contract extention at Red Bull in the next few days.

"I would say it is more or less a formality that the ongoing cooperation with Webber will be finalised in the next few days," Marko told an Australian news channel.

The Red Bull advisor believed that the 33-year old was to blame for the crash of the RBR team-mates which saw Vettel retire and Webber drop to third.  Marko stated initially that Webber "should have given Seb more space," before retracting this statement upon further inspection.

Dr. Marko did however confirm rumours that Webber would only be offered a further one-year deal with the Milton Keynes squad.

"Webber is not a youngster," he re-iterated.
