Bahrain weather set for blistering weekend

Wednesday 10th March 2010, 11:08 Ryan Wood

The teams will welcome the scorching hot weather after testing was a washout for many of the days.

The temperature in Bahrain is expected to his 36 degrees Celsius on Sunday, with low wind speeds. Minimal wind is vital on an open desert track, as sand is often blown onto the track making overtaking off-line almost impossible.

The weather conditions are similar to those of 2009.
